What to send us
We can usually quote a residential job from photos without visiting first. The four things that decide the number:
- Roughly how many panels, an estimate is fine, we will confirm on site.
- Roof or ground mount, and roughly how steep the roof is. Ground-mount arrays are the cheapest to service; steep multi-storey roofs the most expensive.
- A photo of the array from the ground, far enough back to show the roof and the surroundings. Tree cover matters.
- What you need, cleaning, bird proofing, mesh critter guard, or a combination. If you are not sure, describe the problem and we will tell you.
What happens next
- We come back with a whole-job price, not an hourly rate. No charge for the estimate.
- If you approve it, a 30% deposit confirms the date for residential work. Commercial terms are set per account.
- We clean with deionized water and a soft brush, from the ground wherever the array allows, and inspect the array while we are there.
- The balance is due after the work is done, you see the result first. Card, bank, Zelle, Venmo, check, or cash.
Before you book
Two things worth checking first, because they save you money. If your output dropped suddenly or a single panel reads zero, that is a hardware fault rather than dirt, call your installer, not us. And if your array is ground-mounted or reachable from the ground with a pole, a $150-$400 deionized water kit will let you do it yourself; we would rather tell you that than sell you a visit. How to check your own production data walks through it.
